Minor Cuts and Scratches: |
Difficult stains-Use an abrasive
cleaner and a green Scotch Brite® pad
Sand with 180 and 220-grit fine sandpaper until cut is
gone
Restore finish with an abrasive cleanser and a green Scotch
Brite® pad
Make sure to use a circular motion when sanding and “feather”
out
To achieve optimal results a sander is useful-You will
not achieve the same results as the factory-practice on
your cutting board
*TIPS FOR DAILY USE OF CORIAN KITCHEN COUNTER TOPS
-always use a hot pad or trivet (or your Corian cutting board) for hot pots, electric appliances
(Coffee Pot, Crock Pot, Electric Fry Pan, etc.) to allow the heat to dissipate.
-avoid exposure to strong chemicals (i.e. paint removers,
oven cleaners, etc.)-
immediately flush with water on contact
-remove nail polish with non-acetone based remover-flush
with water
-do not cut directly on counter top-use the cutting board
provided
-run cold water when pouring boiling water into sink
