Organizations and Affiliates

Solid Image is a member in good standing of the International Solid Surface Fabricators Association (ISSFA). We are able to keep up with trends in colors, patterns, techniques and industry changes by being a part of this association. Also very active members of the Home Builders Association in Lake/Sumter and Marion County. There are constant changes in the building industry involving codes, green-building and material specification requirements, the builder associations keep us on top of any and all changes.

Awards and Certificates

Richard Pitts and Mark Schroeder, two of the owners, are DuPont licensed Corian and Zodiaq fabricators and installers. Rick has also completed additional classes and is licensed in Corian repair. Solid Image was awarded a certificate of recognition from Lake Griffin State Recreation Area for labor and materials donated to the park. For the year 1999, we were recognized by Dupont with a "Reward For Growth" plaque. In 2001 we were invited to a Brand Champion Fabricator's Conference for those fabricator's who have met or exceeded their growth goals for 2000. We have met or exceeded our growth goals ever since, thanks to the great customers we deal with in Lake, Sumter and Marion counties, as well as many in Orange, Seminole and Volusia. Thank you!

Team Members

In our office, you'll often find Mark, Rick or Karen personally answering your calls. Our office personnel, Debby Young, is responsible for the coordination of selections on each job, warranty information, customer service and scheduling updates for installations. Our Builder Program Specialist, Karen Schroeder, takes care of our field appointments. Karen makes sure the builders, their sales associates and design centers are educated on the products and have all the sales tools necessary to help customers make their selections. Our skilled craftsmen manufacture beautiful Corian, Zodiaq and granite counter tops for kitchens and baths each and every day. Professionally representing Solid Image in the field, is Chris Houck along with his assistant Philip Eland taking care of appointments, templating, installations and service calls.

Our fabrication shop is constantly changing to meet the market's needs. Tony Hayden, Dan Fowler and  Junior Fowler do the intricate details of bowl set-up, splash preparation and custom products.

Owners and Principals

Solid Image of Central Florida Inc. was incorporated in June 1998. The owners and principals of the company are:

Mark Schroeder - Treasurer
Karen A Schroeder - President
Ken Smith - Pilot

Rick is our Operations Manager making sure products are fabricated to DuPont quality specifications. He schedules our installations and checks each job personally.

Mark, being the General Manager keeps our finances in order as well as each of the employees and their needs.

Karen is in charge of Sales and Marketing for the company. Thus the web-site, community involvement and the social events that the company becomes a part of.

Ken, our fourth partner is our business advisor. He helps us to focus on our goals and manage our growth. He is a licensed pilot for a private corporation. Unfortunately, Solid Image does not have a plane (yet).
